CADWorx 2010 New Features!

General

• True 64 bit support - All CADWorx programs will support 64bit AutoCAD running on a 64bit Windows operating
  system. This will allow for expanded memory and increased speed on supported hardware.
• New installation - The installation of the CADWorx programs will now be done through a new installation program
  allowing the user to install multiple modules at the same time and giving the user more flexibility
  in their installation environment.

CADWorx Plant

• Pipe Support Modeling - Adding intelligent pipe supports to CADWorx Plant. Based on support components the user will
  be able to build support assemblies and insert them into the model parametrically. The supports
  will export to ISOGEN and CAESAR II as before. Data files will be used to control the
  parametric information for each component. A simple list of support assemblies used can be
  generated.
• Mitered pipe export to ISOGEN - Mitered pipe will now export to ISOGEN.
• I-Configure for ISOGEN style management - ISOGEN’s I-Configure will now be used to set the configuration of ISOGEN. This is the updated
  configuration tool from ISOGEN.

CADWorx Steel

• CIS/2 export - Steel framework will be exportable to CIS/2 format for importation into 3rd party applications for
  steel analysis and detailing.

CADWorx - Equipment

• Insulation - Vessels and heat exchangers can now be insulated.

CADWorx - P&ID

• Block Libraries - Two new block libraries have been added. One for Waste Water Treatment and one that
  expands the equipment types.
• Line Number Toolbar - Adding a line numbering toolbar to help speed the generation of line numbers in the drawing.
• Component Inheritance - In line components (valves) will inherit all the common data from the existing process line
  component.
• Match Properties - Matching common data from one component to others.
