Working with 3D models in CADWorx can be done in many different ways, but when it comes to CADWorx Equipment, the method that integrates with PV Elite allows a CAD Designer to create a vessel or exchanger model and send it directly over to PV Elite for Section VII Division 1 or Division 2 analysis. After vessel analysis has been performed, where shell and nozzle thicknesses were changed, repads added, anchor chairs for skirts designed, or vessel internals modified, there also exists a method to send the modified model back into CADWorx plant – completing a bi-directional link between CAD and CAE disciplines. Join us for a quick session as our Technical Support Manager George Montgomery describes advantages to gain from these operations, as well as common missteps and workflows utilized by the industry.
