Join us for our next webinar to learn about the new data transfer capability in AFT Fathom 10! Fathom is a prediction tool for modeling incompressible pipe flow systems. Engineers use Fathom to understand the hydraulic behavior of their system and predict how pipes, valves, pumps and other components will interact with one another. Let’s show a huge time saver for the engineer with the new capability of Fathom 10 to import geometry from CAD or other Analysis applications to set up the hydraulic model in Fathom.
In this webinar we will discuss:
- *.PCF import into Fathom 10 for model generation. Using the neutral piping component file format (PCF) which can be exported out of any major plant design package, we can now import this data into Fathom 10 to quickly generate all necessary pipe lengths, elevations, and fitting losses automatically.
- *.CII import into Fathom 10 for model generation. Using the CAESAR II neutral file, exported out of CAESAR II, we can now import the piping data into Fathom 10 to quickly generate all necessary pipe lengths, elevations, and fitting losses automatically.
